Noosa
The destination with the most visitors is Noosa. Right at the top end of the Sunshine Coast, Noosa is also the most luxurious and exclusive. Hastings Street buzzes with high class restaurants and boutique shops.
Marcoola
This sleepy seaside town is slowly becoming a family favourite for holidays. With a number of resorts right on the beach at lower prices than many other parts of the coast, Marcoola is the home of quiet holidays.
Coolum
Just up the road from Marcoola is Coolum. The beachside strip has been heavily developed in the last few years and as a result has become slightly more upmarket with brand new resorts, restaurants and shops.
Caloundra
Absolutley the number one family destination on the Sunshine Coast. Caloundra has 6 beaches - some perfect for surfers and some ideal for families. The esplanade features parks, water jets, takeaways and boardwalks.
Maroochydore
Not only the business centre of the Sunshine Coast, it also features 2 shopping centres and a wide range of restaurants. The city is also flanked by the Maroochydore River with parks along-side.
Mooloolaba
Home to UnderWater World, Mooloolaba is just south of Maroochydore and is extremely popular due to its perfect mix of beachfront apartments, the finest cafes, a beaytiful beach and great surf.
